F-15E Strike Eagles fighters arrived at one of the bases in the Middle East, where Americans are stationed. This is another display of strength meant to discourage Hamas and the countries supporting this organization from taking action against Israel.

The United States authorities sided with Israel shortly after the unexpected attack by Hamas. They announced, among other things, support in the form of ammunition, as well as sending their military equipment, which is to serve as a deterrent against Israel's enemies. The actions are carried out on a large scale, as information about the next units appearing in the hot region is published every now and then. Often, as in this case, it's about the air force.

F-15E Strike Eagles in the Middle East

A few days ago, A-10 Thunderbolt II landed in the Middle East. These are famous American assault aircrafts notable for their strong armor and significant weaponry, which easily handle the destruction of enemy vehicles, including tanks. According to declarations from Joe Biden's administration, F-15E Strike Eagles have joined them.

These are multi-role fighters first produced by McDonnell Douglas, and currently by Boeing. The first units were flown in 1986. Unlike the base versions of the F-15, these units offer greatly increased capabilities.

They can be used not only to ensure air superiority but also for attacks on ground targets and operations conducted under any weather conditions and at night. They are capable of operating at lower altitudes, and on the other hand, reaching a ceiling of even around 59,055 feet.

Each F-15E Strike Eagles is powered by two engines and measures almost 66 feet in length. It is armed with an M61 Vulcan 20 mm caliber gun, but can also carry additional weaponry in the form of air-to-air missiles (AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-120 AMRAAM), air-to-ground, and bombs.

In addition to the A-10 Thunderbolt II and fighters, significant forces operating at sea were directed to the Middle East. This refers to the aircraft carriers USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower redirected to the eastern regions of the Mediterranean Sea. These are the largest vessels of this type in the world, accompanied by battle groups consisting of several other ships.
