Politicians demand answers on mysterious drone sightings
Politicians in the USA, including state governors and congress members, are demanding explanations from the White House regarding mysterious drones seen over military bases. Despite assurances from authorities, the issue remains controversial.

New Jersey Governor Philip Murphy revealed that since November 18, there has been an increase in reports in the state concerning sightings of drones of unexplained origin. The areas around military bases are particularly problematic. Although the FBI has joined the investigation, the mysterious objects remain unidentified, which fuels interest and conspiracy theories, especially on social media.
Despite numerous appeals from politicians, the White House and the Pentagon reassure that there is no evidence of foreign activity in this matter.
Pentagon Deputy Press Secretary Sabrina Singh denied reports of an Iranian ship near the eastern coast of the USA, emphasizing that the drones do not belong to the US military nor do they originate from abroad.
John Kirby from the National Security Council also addressed doubts, indicating that many sightings might involve manned aircraft such as helicopters.
The phenomenon of spotting unmanned aerial vehicles has a broader context. At the end of November, the US Air Force reported the presence of small drones around bases in the United Kingdom, such as Lakenheath, Mildenhall, and Feltwell, as well as in Germany. Although the Pentagon did not identify these objects, it was confirmed that they do not pose a security threat.
Escalation of political demands
Former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan and other politicians, including Congressman Chris Smith, appealed to federal authorities for urgent explanations. Hogan released a video showing lights in the sky as alleged drones, deeming the authorities' response inadequate.
In both New York and New Jersey, local authorities continue to cooperate with federal security services to protect citizens.
