Poland secures $290M deal to supply TNT to U.S. Army
Chemical Plant Nitro-Chem in Bydgoszcz signed an agreement with Paramount Enterprises International on Wednesday. The contract, valued at $290 million, involves the delivery of TNT to the American Army from 2027 to 2029.
Deputy Minister of Defense Cezary Tomczyk signed the TNT delivery agreement. "This is a unique meeting because we are showcasing our capabilities and selling our products to the United States, to the company Paramount. "Poland is the largest producer of TNT in NATO. Nitro-Chem is a plant we can be truly proud of," the Deputy Minister of Defense emphasized.
"At the same time, we are investing $730 million in new ammunition factories for 155 mm caliber production. This marks a breakthrough in the Polish-American alliance and a significant step forward for our defense industry," added Tomczyk on the X service.

He also mentioned that the newly signed contract, worth $290 million, covers the delivery of 20,000 tons of TNT to the USA over three years. "Poland is the main supplier of TNT for the United States," said Tomczyk.
The Deputy Minister of Defense highlighted that the ministry plans to invest about $240 million in the Bydgoszcz factory in the upcoming years, with current investments totaling $29 million.
