A major global PlayStation Network outage is in progress. Thousands of users are reporting issues with services like the PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, and even online gaming.

According to user reports on Downdetector, problems with the platform began overnight between February 7 and February 8. Several hours later, just after 10:00 AM ET, I still can't log into my PSN account, and reports keep coming in.

At 8:46 PM ET, Sony announced "possible issues for some users" via the X service. In the following 13 hours, no new messages were posted.

The PlayStation Network outage has affected at least some users of the PS5, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and PS Portal consoles, disconnecting them from network services. Problems are also occurring on the website and mobile applications. Although the PlayStation Store's catalog can be browsed, adding a game to the cart or even attempting to log in results in an error message.

At the time of publishing this article, the number of reports from the USA exceeds 5,900, from Spain over 800, from France over 3,700, and from Poland over 1,400.

Update at 11:17 AM

After 11:00 AM, the number of outage reports in Poland remains high, nearing 1,500. Sony's post on X about "possible issues for some users" has already garnered over 34,000 comments.
