The end of October is the time for Halloween parties. Both children and adults alike don costumes of witches, skeletons, and ghosts. Whether you're throwing a children's party or preparing a house party for friends, themed snacks create an incredible atmosphere. My secret weapon for a party is a ghost pizza that I decorate with homemade basil and olive paste. It not only presents well on the table, but it also tastes really good. It's simple to prepare and always manages to wow my guests.
Ghost Pizza
Ingredients:
Sauce:
- 2 tablespoons of 18% cream,
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- 1 teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1 tablespoon of dried oregano.
Chicken:
- chicken breast fillet,
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil,
- tablespoon of dried oregano,
- teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1/3 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper.
Paste:
- 2 handfuls of fresh basil,
- 5.3 ounces of black olives,
- 1/3 cup of grated parmesan,
- 1 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/2 teaspoon of pepper,
- 1/4 cup of olive oil.
Remaining ingredients:
- 8.8 oz of pizza dough,
- 4.2 oz of grated mozzarella.
Preparation Method:
Step 1: I cut the chicken fillet into thin slices. I drizzle it with olive oil, add dried oregano, garlic, and salt, and mix so the spices evenly coat the meat.
Step 2: Combine the cream with mayo, oregano, garlic, and salt.
Step 3: I blend fresh basil leaves together with pitted black olives, Parmesan, spices, and olive oil.
Step 4: I shape the pizza dough into the form of a ghost, stretching it out with my hands on the kitchen counter and transferring it onto a baking sheet. I spread it with the prepared mayonnaise sauce, lay down pieces of chicken, and sprinkle the whole thing with shredded cheese. I put it into an oven preheated to 428 degrees Fahrenheit and bake for 10 minutes.
Step 5: I transfer the previously prepared basil and olive paste into a pastry bag and decorate the prepared pizza. Enjoy!
