Pistachio iced coffee recipe takes homemade brews to new heights
The pistachio craze is still going strong, and I'm not surprised. After pastries, ice cream, and tiramisu, it's now time for a delicious iced coffee. In this version, it tastes better than any café's offering.

When the thermometer outside shows heat, refreshing drinks come into play. Instead of classic coffee, I then opt for its iced version, which also serves as a great dessert replacement. Cafés offer many flavors and combinations, but this iced pistachio coffee made at home definitely holds the top spot. I don't know a better recipe for a tasty refreshment.
Iced pistachio coffee
Just the sight of the glass makes you want to drink it immediately. This is thanks to the pistachio cream, which not only decorates the glass but also gives it a unique flavor. When I served it to my guests, they were simply delighted. Nowadays, every visit to my place starts with, "May I have a pistachio coffee?"
The coffee base is espresso, a small and very intense brew. It allows me to control the flavor of the iced coffee. I brew it stronger or add more when I crave a caffeine boost or make it weaker when I reach for a drink late in the afternoon. In every version, it tastes simply fabulous.
Ingredients:
- 4 tablespoons of pistachio cream
- 4 scoops of vanilla ice cream
- 1.4 fluid ounces of espresso
- Crushed pistachios
- 1 piece of milk chocolate
Preparation:
Step 1. Spread the pistachio cream on the edges of the glass. This is what gives the coffee its unique flavor and pistachio note. It's easiest to spread it with the convex side of a spoon.
Step 2. Place two scoops of vanilla ice cream in the glass and mash them with a spoon. Make an indentation in the ice cream and pour the brewed coffee into it.
Step 3. Finally, decorate the coffee with crushed pistachios and add a piece of chocolate. The cold, delicious, and sweet iced pistachio coffee is now ready. Enjoy!
