If you think pineapple is just a fruit, this tomato will surprise you. The pineapple tomato is a true gem among tomatoes; many people haven't even heard of this variety. It's a real treat for food lovers because you can eat it like an apple. It also works great in salads and sandwiches, so it's worth adding to your shopping list.

Pineapple tomato - How does it taste?

The world of tomatoes is exciting and diverse, with up to 7,000 varieties. However, this does not mean that all of them are in use, as we cultivate only a small part. The most popular are the raspberry tomato and the oxheart tomato, but the pineapple tomato also deserves attention.

It has an intense, sweet-fruity flavor, somewhat reminiscent of a peach. The fruits are round, slightly flattened, and have characteristic ribbing. The flesh is meaty, and the skin is delicate, making it very easy to peel. This variety will appeal to you if you like juicy and sweet tomatoes.
