Peskov brought it upon himself. His daughter's so‑called 'spartan' lifestyle

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov attempted to convince the public that his France-based daughter was living under "Spartan" conditions. Peskova, however, stated that she subsisted on merely 500 euros ($565) per month. Nonetheless, internet users have unearthed photographs that tell a completely different story.

Dmitry Peskov's 25-year-old daughter, Lisa, resided in Paris and worked at the office of MEP Aymeric Chauprade from France until Russia's aggression towards Ukraine ensued.

French news outlets regularly reported about the lavish lifestyle led by the Russian native. In April this year, French television channel LCI aired a report about the offspring of one of Russia's main propagandists. After the broadcast of this content, an incensed Peskova posted a correction on Instagram.

"My well-known surname has caused me more inconvenience than benefits. I am not hiding the fact that my monthly living expense in France did not exceed 500 euros ($565). About five years ago, when I returned to Moscow, I completed my international relations studies and have been financially self-sufficient since then," voiced the daughter of the Russian dignitary in a recording.

Peskov himself has also frequently articulated about the "humble" life led by his daughter. In a state television interview, the Kremlin spokesman admitted that Lisa had to confront a plethora of difficulties before she "settled down".

"She underwent tough times, experienced a grueling education, not only in Russia but also in France. Her existence there was invariably impoverished, always under very Spartan conditions," expressed the Russian propagandist.

The outcomes of web users' "investigations" categorically contradict everything stated by the Peskov family representatives to date.

Anton Herashchenko, advisor to the head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, posted on Twitter photographs of Peskova, revealing an evidently affluent lifestyle. In the shared images, the young Russian is seen donned in opulent attire, commuting in limousines and private jets.

"Peskov claimed that his daughter Liza lived under 'Spartan conditions' in France. However, from the photos, we see numerous instances that suggest otherwise. After all, for her, Putin's palaces and business jets seem like 'poverty'", Herashchenko retorted.

Five years ago, the Anti-Corruption Foundation discovered that Lisa Peskova and her mother are owners of a 1937 square feet flat, valued at around 2 million euros ($2.25 million). This property is rumored to be located in one of Paris's most expensive neighborhoods.
