Pentagon discovers additional $2 billion error in Ukraine aid
As revealed by a US government report on July 25 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time, the Pentagon detected additional errors amounting to $2 billion in its calculations regarding ammunition, rockets, and other equipment sent to Ukraine. As a result, additional weapons may be sent to Kyiv, which will certainly be useful on the front lines.

The United States Department of Defense stated that to calculate the billion-dollar equipment sent to Ukraine in 2023, it used the "replacement value" instead of the "depreciated value," resulting in a miscalculation of $6.2 billion, which was later used to send new aid. However, this is not the end of the United States' miscalculations.
Since then, additional overestimated costs of $2 billion have been detected, announced the Pentagon, as quoted by Reuters.
As a result, additional weapons worth $2 billion may be sent to Ukraine, which is excellent news for the Ukrainian army.
The US Government Accountability Office stated that the discrepancies in the report on the value of the aid provided are due to an unclear definition of value in the foreign aid act and a lack of specific valuation guidelines for the US president's administration.
It is worth remembering that on July 3, the US Department of Defense announced a new military aid package for Ukraine worth $150 million. The aid includes air defense interceptors, ammunition for high mobility artillery rocket systems (HIMARS), artillery shells, and other critical capabilities sourced from US stocks.
Spain helped Ukraine. Details revealed
Not only has the United States been helping Ukraine in its war against Russia recently. The Spanish Ministry of Defense boasted of training 5,000 Ukrainian soldiers and reported that another battery of the MIM-23 HAWK anti-aircraft and anti-missile system will achieve operational readiness in Ukraine in September.
The MIM-23 HAWK air defense system was introduced into US Army service in 1960, which then quickly spread to other countries worldwide. Spain acquired its systems during the first modernization phase between 1979-1981 (Product Improvement Plan).
