Peach cookies - a recipe for a delightful dessert
They are perfect for both larger and smaller occasions. They are not only a tasty dessert but also a charming table decoration. Carrot and beet juice give the cookies a beautiful, natural color resembling peaches.
Packed in a decorative box, the cookies can be an original gift for loved ones. They are soft, delicate, and simply delicious.
Ingredients:
- 14 oz of pastry flour,
- 3.5 oz of soft butter,
- 2 eggs,
- 2 tablespoons of 18% cream,
- 3.5 oz of sugar,
- a pinch of baking soda,
- a pinch of salt.
Other ingredients:
- juice from 3 carrots,
- juice from 2 beets,
- apricot jam,
- sugar for coating,
Preparation Method:
Step 1. Break the eggs into a bowl, add the sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
Step 2. Add the soft butter and cream to the beaten eggs and mix. Add the baking soda, salt, and flour, and combine the ingredients by kneading the dough. Divide it into smaller balls.
Step 3. Once baked and cooled, use a small knife to carve out the center of the cookies from the bottom. Fill the hollow with apricot jam and combine two cookies. Optionally, you can use another jam or chocolate cream. Place them in an oven preheated to 355°F for about 20 minutes.
Step 4. Place carrot juice in one bowl and beet juice in another. Paint the "peaches" and roll them in sugar using a brush.
Step 5. Decorate the cookies with green mint. Enjoy!
