During the night from Friday to Saturday in Paris, an incident took place that profoundly affected the local Jewish community. The Paris police are actively searching for the perpetrator of this vandalism. Although surveillance cameras recorded his presence, his disguise makes it difficult to ascertain his identity quickly. The mayor of the 4th District, Ariel Weil, recalled a similar incident from May 2024, when red handprints appeared on the Museum of Shoah Memory building, which was under the responsibility of Russian services.

The mayor of Paris, Anne Hidalgo, announced that the city will take action to find the perpetrators and clean the damaged facades.

"I am deeply disgusted by these heinous acts targeting the Jewish community," wrote the French Minister of the Interior on platform X. The President of the Representative Council of Jewish Institutions in France, Yonathan Arfi, expressed his outrage and sadness over these events.

The Fourth District of Paris, where the incident occurred, is historically associated with the Jewish community, making this act even more painful for residents.
