Palestinian envoy rebuffs Trump, vows to rebuild Gaza home
The Palestinian Ambassador to the UN, Riyad Mansour, is calling on world leaders to respect the wishes of Palestinians who want to remain in the Gaza Strip. This statement was a response to Donald Trump's remarks, made after a meeting with the Israeli Prime Minister, suggesting that Palestinians should leave the Gaza Strip. Trump mentioned that the United States intends to take control of the area and rebuild it.
The Palestinian Ambassador, Riyad Mansour, urged world leaders to honor the wishes of Palestinians who "love" living in the Gaza Strip.
His statement was a response to the comments made by US President Donald Trump, who suggested that Palestinians should be permanently relocated.
Mansour emphasized that "Our homeland is our homeland, if part of it is destroyed, the Gaza Strip, the Palestinian people selected the choice to return to it. And I think that leaders and people should respect the wishes of the Palestinian people".

After the meeting with Netanyahu, Trump declared that the USA could take control of the Gaza Strip and did not rule out sending soldiers there.
