  • After the match in Amsterdam between local team Ajax and Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv, riots broke out. Police arrested 57 people, according to a spokeswoman for the local police. The riots occurred near Dam Square, one of Amsterdam's most popular locations. Local television reported that the unrest began right after the match when fans of the Israeli club arrived by subway to the center. Despite a police escort, chairs were thrown at the fans.
  • At least seven patients in need of urgent medical assistance died in Portugal due to an ongoing strike by medical rescuers that began on October 30, according to the STEPH union, which is co-organizing the protest. The union representing Portuguese medical rescuers stated that, although the circumstances of the deaths are still being investigated, it is already apparent that the victims waited too long for medical help.
  • Several thousand people protested in Ulcinj in southern Montenegro following the sudden death of a woman several weeks after she gave birth in a local hospital, as reported by the Balkan edition of Radio Free Europe. During the "We want the truth for Drita" protest, participants demanded that authorities determine the cause of the woman's death. "We no longer want any mother to suffer the fate of Drita, who left this world due to a doctor's error," said Ejup Zotović, the deceased woman's brother. City officials acknowledged that it was the largest protest in the city's history.
  • In Iran, over the past two days, at least 23 people were executed, according to the organization Iran Human Rights. In Mashhad prison, the death penalty was carried out on at least six men, including an Afghan citizen. So far, Iranian authorities have not published information about the recent executions, the organization reported. All those executed were sentenced to death for drug-related crimes.
