Thanks to these compounds, onion syrup can help soothe coughs, ease expectoration, and act as an antibacterial agent. How is onion syrup made?

Preparing onion syrup is simple and quick, making it an excellent choice for those seeking a home remedy for colds. The most classic recipe requires only two ingredients: onion and sugar. After peeling and chopping the onion into small pieces, layer them in a jar, sprinkling each layer with sugar.
