A trailer for the adventure production "Three Musketeers: Milady" has appeared online. This is a continuation of the story told in the movie "Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan", which had its theatrical premiere in May. "We approach her, learn about her past, and it becomes more understandable to us, why she chose the path of evil," said Eva Green about her character.
"The Three Musketeers: D’Artagnan" and "The Three Musketeers: Milady" are some of the most expensive film projects in the history of French cinema. The budget for the two films reached $80 million. The first one was a big success in European cinemas, although it was not noticed by the audience in our country.
Just under 50,000 people watched it in the span of a month. Perhaps the second part will garner more interest in Poland. The femme fatale, Milady, played by Eva Green, becomes the movie's lead character.

The premiere of the movie "The Three Musketeers: Milady" is planned for December 13, 2023. "In the first part of ‘The Musketeers’ Milady is mysterious, we don't learn much about her. But in the 'sequel' we get closer to her, we get to know her past and it becomes more understandable to us why she took the path of evil. We can also find that the hatred she radiates has its cause, and that under the mask of a cynic hides a sensitive person. Milady has never been shown in the cinema in such a way" - said Eva Green in an interview for "Vogue".
In the movie "The Three Musketeers: Milady", we will see how D'Artagnan will be forced to join forces with Milady de Winter to save his beloved from the hands of kidnappers. We can suspect that this will only be a temporary alliance, which Cardinal Richelieu's agent will want to use for her nefarious purposes.
Milady de Winter in Alexander Dumas' novels was a very attractive woman who twisted men around her finger. She became one of the most interesting literary villains, a sensual "femme fatale". Her distinct mark, a stigma of Milady, was a lily, burned onto her left arm, which she hid from people.
In novels, Milady de Winter was a blonde woman with blue eyes. This cannot be said about Evie Green (although the eye color matches). "I like distinctive characters, but only if they have some features, because then there is something to play. Ideals do not interest me. Some may say maliciously that Milady is another femme fatale in my rendition, but she sparkles with different shades of character" – the actress claims.
