Kristina Karyagina became the focus of media attention many years ago, after her struggle to regain health was publicized. Everything started back in high school when she started eating less due to stress. The situation got worse when she went to law school. Her weight was dropping year by year, and Karyagina started having serious health problems.

At a critical moment, she weighed only 17 kilograms. Today, she fights to regain her health

Despite finishing her studies, Kristina could not undertake normal work due to her drastic underweight. At the worst point, the girl weighed only about 37 pounds, which prevented her from getting out of bed by herself. Her participation in the show "Let them talk" in 2016 opened her eyes, after which she began a tough battle with anorexia. She realized that it could even threaten her with death.

In the years following the episode mentioned, Kristina managed to double her weight, but she still has a long way to go to fully recover. Three years later, she admitted in a post on Telegram that she has a disability and her organs are still recovering. However, she assured that she will not give up.

Since 2019, I have had a permanent disability status. All because of poor nutrition. Of course, my weight is not what it should be, but it has increased significantly - she wrote.

The V1 editorial team has been in contact with the 31 year old, hearing that her recovery process is still ongoing. Currently, the woman has still not reached the minimal weight of 99 pounds, which her doctors recommended, but her life is no longer in danger. However, she claims to have serious problems with her spine and legs, which is why she moves in a wheelchair.

New technological solutions have allowed her to take up regular work, which she does remotely from home. Her hobbies are books and drawing, on which she spends most of her free time. She also looks completely different today and everything indicates that the worst is already behind her.
