Ban in France
The Scottish newspaper "Daily Record" highlighted an important regulation, the violation of which during the games in France can be quite costly.
According to foreign press reports, tourists visiting France for the Olympic Games should be aware of the country's stringent anti-smoking laws. Smoking in prohibited public places like restaurants, public transport, stations, or the metro can incur fines between €68 and €150 ($72 to $159).
Additionally, littering in public places can result in a fine of €68 ($72).
Enforcing regulations
