Kiper noted that the attack caused damage to civilian infrastructure. The Reuters agency recalls that on Monday, a Russian missile struck an educational facility in Odesa, resulting in five fatalities.

Another attack on Odesa this week

Odesa faced another Russian assault on Monday. The attack led to five casualties - four people were killed during the shelling, and a fifth victim died from a stroke induced by the bombardment. Additionally, 32 individuals sustained injuries.

Earlier reports from Ukrainian media indicated that an enemy missile targeted the "Student Palace," a property of the Odesa Law Academy State University.

According to Kiper, 25 individuals were hospitalized as a consequence of the attack, among them two children and a pregnant woman. The condition of a young girl, not yet five years old, is described by doctors as very critical. Six adults required resuscitation.

Air raid sirens were activated in the city at 11:24 AM local time, with a loud explosion heard just four minutes later. The Ukrainian air forces had previously warned that Odesa could be subjected to ballistic missile attacks, as reported by the news portal Suspilne Odesa.
