Taylor Swift, a global pop music icon, boasts millions of fans worldwide. She allowed many people to enjoy her live music on her "The Eras Tour". Her performances at the National Stadium in August 2023 have solidified their place in history. Unfortunately, some fans are not satisfied with just enjoying her music. They seek personal meetings with the artist, engaging in illegal activities when necessary.

For 33-year-old David Crowe, interest in Taylor Swift escalated into a dangerous obsession. On Wednesday, January 24, Crowe was apprehended near the Tribeca Townhouse complex on Franklin Street in New York, where Swift owns an apartment. Despite hiding in the trash, vigilant neighbors notified the police, leading to his capture.

Taylor Swift's stalker strikes again

Crowe's behavior is particularly worrying, considering he has been jailed three times within five days, each time for trying to infiltrate the pop icon's home. On Wednesday, Crowe was arrested mere hours after his court hearing, where he had been charged with attempting to break into Swift's property. He had been haunting the area around the apartment since Christmas 2023.

"I saw him rifling through the trash, pulling out blankets, before he went and sat on the loading ramp a few doors down from Taylor's apartment," said a neighbor to the "New York Post".

She added, "My heart stopped. I thought, 'Oh my God, I can't believe this guy is back here. I hope he gets the help he needs, but he should stay away from our street'."

Taylor Swift has yet to comment on this issue.
