Oat muffins offer a delightful snack. Even those who might not be fond of oatmeal will find them irresistible. Bananas contribute the right level of sweetness, while chocolate enhances the flavor. During the fruit season, consider adding blueberries or currants to the mix.
Why is it worth reaching for oat flakes?
Oat flakes are one of the most valuable sources of nutrients. They are rich in fiber, protein, vitamins (especially B vitamins), and minerals such as iron, magnesium, and zinc. The high fiber content in oatmeal promotes regular bowel movements and helps prevent constipation.
Regular consumption of oat flakes can help lower "bad" LDL cholesterol levels, thus reducing the risk of heart disease.
