An absolutely unusual event took place in the French department of Ardèche. A video material from the construction site of a new religious center appeared online - however, environmental activists are opposing the further erection of the building, trying to block the investment.

Activist attacked by agile nun

However, the situation took an unexpected turn. One of the activists was attacked by a nun who appeared at the site of the protest. The woman grabbed a man running with pipes, and then knocked him to the ground in a spot previously prepared for construction.

An unexpected attack of the nun caused quite a commotion. This unique video is also quite popular on the internet - so far it has been played over 3.4 million times.

After the video material was published online, things heated up. Underneath the video, we can find comments supporting both the reaction from the nun and the actions taken by the eco-activists.

Internet users are pointing out, among other things, activists breaking pipes, which is intended to halt the further construction of the center. This action, according to many people, is contrary to the idea of ecology.

On the other hand, there are voices suggesting that constructing this building will have a significant human impact on the local environment. However, there is no shortage of humorous reactions to the clash between the nun and the activist - some believe that the clergywoman took down her opponent with the elegance befitting an experienced rugby player.
