However, his enthusiasm for football waned, culminating in his retirement announcement in January. The 34-year-old is now enjoying his athletic retirement.

Gareth Bale is committed to staying active post his professional football career. His tennis training clip has garnered attention from various corners, including Novak Djokovic. The Serbian champ recently met with Bale in person and this time offered his assistance with on-court training.

As soon as I saw Bale's video, I noticed his exhaustive forehand practice. I immediately sent him a message. Gareth thanked me and admitted that he was now struggling with his backhand - Novak Djokovic explained in a Tennis TV interview.

I can help you with that backhand. Next time we meet, we'll improve on it - Djokovic replied, offering his support to the ex-Real Madrid footballer.

Finding a better tennis teacher than Novak Djokovic would be an uphill task for Gareth Bale. Djokovic has won three out of four of this year's Grand Slam tournaments.
