The officers specified that the charges involved a "sexual act without intercourse." The victim "was unable to resist this act."
- The police compiled a report based on information that emerged during the ongoing investigation. The prosecution decided to pursue the case on November 6, 2024, - stated prosecutor Andreas Kruszewski from the Oslo police district.
Borg Høiby had previously been detained on August 4 in connection with an incident involving his partner. During the night, the 27-year-old assaulted her and caused bodily harm.
Norwegian media revealed that in the Oslo apartment where these scenes of violence took place, police discovered a knife stabbed into one of the bedroom walls. Marius was then detained by the police once more for violating a court order.
The "Dagbladet" newspaper reports that five victims are currently involved in the criminal cases against Høiby. In addition to his former girlfriend, other individuals are involved.
The charges in the case concerning his former partner include bodily harm and abuse of a person in a close relationship, as well as violating a restraining order and contact prohibition with the victim. Høiby admitted to committing violence and causing harm while under the influence of alcohol and cocaine.
Other former partners, Juliane Snekkestad and Nora Haukland, also accuse Høiby of aggression and physical and mental violence. He is also charged with threatening to kill a 20-year-old in a message on Instagram. Now, an alleged rape charge has been added to his list of legal problems.
Borg Høiby is the son of Princess Mette-Marit, born before her 2001 marriage to Norway's heir to the throne, Prince Haakon. He and his half-siblings—20-year-old Princess Ingrid Alexandra and 18-year-old Prince Sverre Magnus—were raised together by Crown Princess Mette-Marit and Prince Haakon. Unlike his half-brother and sister, the 27-year-old holds no official public function.
