The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has revealed intercepted conversations suggesting major losses among North Korean troops in the Kursk region. According to the Polish Press Agency, many of the wounded are being taken to medical facilities in Moscow.
Based on Ukrainian intelligence, which intercepted a phone conversation between a nurse in Moscow and her husband at the front, it was reported that in recent days over 200 wounded soldiers from Pyongyang have been admitted to the hospital wards. The woman claimed that more transports were on the way.

"Yesterday, a train brought about 100 people. Today, another 120 arrived— that's already 200. And how many more are there? Only God knows," complains the wife of a Russian soldier.
She also expressed frustration that soldiers from North Korea are receiving priority treatment, while the wounded Russians reportedly face much poorer treatment conditions. "Are these Koreans some kind of elite? We're freeing up special rooms for them," says the nurse.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky reported the presence of 11,000 North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region. Ukrainian military intelligence, HUR, warns that the involvement of the DPRK army in the war on Russia's side poses a threat to Ukraine, South Korea, and Japan.
The SBU has launched a criminal investigation into the participation of North Korean troops in the war against Ukraine. This involvement may have far-reaching consequences for world peace. Some North Korean soldiers could return home with new combat skills.
