North Korean soldier's stolen goods confession sparks debate
A photo of a handwritten letter from a North Korean soldier who joined the Russian side against Ukraine has surfaced online. The letter details an action the soldier took while on the front line.
In late October and early November, reports surfaced about North Korean soldiers being present on the front line in Ukraine. In this manner, Kim Jong-Un's regime directly supported Vladimir Putin's aggression. It's estimated that about 10,000 Korean soldiers are involved in the military operations.
The intention was for Kim's soldiers to assist the Russians in expelling Ukrainians from the Kursk region. However, experts noted that the Koreans lack significant combat capability and experience. Yet, in light of Ukraine's worsening situation and a wave of desertions, even such reinforcements are considered significant.
