The Ukrainian Special Operations Forces (SOF) released the diary of a North Korean soldier who died in the Kursk region. This document unveils that North Korea deployed its elite soldiers to Russia. The soldier characterized his mission as a form of redemption for past mistakes against the North Korean party.

Entry from the soldier's diary

In the diary, the soldier expresses remorse for betraying the party and describes his mission as a chance to regain trust. He stresses that his objective is to unconditionally follow Kim Jong Un's orders, even at the cost of his own life. He believes that his sacrifice will demonstrate the courage and determination of North Korean special forces to the world.

"Now, I have no choice but to regain the trust I once had. I will go to the front lines in this operation and obey the orders of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Un without question, even if it costs me my life. I will show the world the invincible courage and sacrifice of the Red Special Forces (Red Commanders) of Kim Jong Un," the soldier wrote.

"I betrayed my beloved Party, which had placed its trust in me, and committed acts of ingratitude against the Supreme Commander-in-Chief," reads the entry.

Previous diary entries also included descriptions of military tactics, such as hunting drones.
