For years, Nokia smartphones symbolized reliability and durability in the mobile market. However, it seems that the end of this exceptional era is upon us. HMD Global, the company responsible for producing and selling devices with the Nokia logo, has withdrawn these phones from its lineup. Although these smartphones have been available for some time, they are now being replaced by modern models under HMD’s brand. What does this mean for Nokia fans, and will the legendary manufacturer completely disappear from the market?

A farewell to the legendary brand?

Nokia is a brand that has long been synonymous with reliability and innovation in the mobile phone market. With the dynamic development of technology, Nokia smartphones have also gained recognition, especially among users who value reliability and durability. However, at the beginning of this year, HMD Global announced that it was discontinuing the production of Nokia-branded smartphones, which surprised many fans of the telephone legend.

Although phones were still found on store shelves, it was clear that their time was running out. Nokia smartphones have become relics of the past, and HMD Global has focused on producing devices under its brand. This step is a symbolic farewell to an era in which Nokia was one of the most important players in the mobile market.

The decision to withdraw Nokia smartphones from HMD Global's offerings was inevitable. Even though these devices were still available in some stores over the last several months, stock supplies started to run out. Currently, on HMD Global's official sites in Europe, we no longer find models with the logo of this legendary brand. Interestingly, Nokia smartphones are still available in other regions of the world, such as Asia, Africa, and Latin America, but even there, their days are numbered.

This might be sad news for many users, especially since Nokia was a synonym for durability and simplicity, particularly when the market was not yet so heavily dominated by smartphones with Android or iOS operating systems. Although technical support for existing Nokia devices is still available, HMD Global has shifted its focus to developing more modern and budget-friendly models.
