No more paying extra for aesthetics: Samsung Galaxy A35 rivals high-end models

The Galaxy A35 is predicted to be the first of its series that will be difficult to tell apart from pricier Samsung models.

Until recently, Samsung utilized so-called teardrop screens in the Galaxy A3x series smartphones, likely emphasizing their 'budget' aspect. I say 'budget' with quotation marks because the Galaxy A34 had a starting price of 1899 PLN, which isn't exactly broadly accessible. Nevertheless, the Koreans ensured it stood out visually when compared to devices like the Galaxy A54.

A few years ago, screen holes were mainly reserved for higher-priced smartphones. Using teardrop designs seems more like a mandatory visual difference to motivate customers to pay a premium. It appears that Samsung decided to put an end to this.

Samsung Galaxy A35 sports a contemporary design

The MySmartPrice service published renderings expected to represent the design of the upcoming Galaxy A35 model. According to these, the smartphone, much like its costlier counterparts, will feature a display hole rather than a teardrop.

Combine this with the characteristic positioning of three lenses on the back panel, and it appears the new smartphone will fully align with Samsung's latest design language.
