"Explosions were heard in Kharkiv, located in the northeast of Ukraine, early Thursday morning as the city came under attack from Russian rockets," Mayor Igor Terekhov reported via the Telegram channel.

Oleg Synyehubov, the governor of the Kharkiv region, reported that the enemy launched at least nine strikes against Kharkiv and its outskirts, potentially disrupting the power supply.

Additionally, according to the region's governor, Ivan Fyodorov, explosions were reported in the Zaporizhzhia region, situated in the south of Ukraine.

The situation was also tricky in Kyiv, where an alarm was activated due to a missile threat, specifically from manoeuvring missiles launched by Tu-95MS aircraft, said the head of the Kyiv Military Administration, Serhiy Popko.
