Nicole Kidman dazzles in pearl-studded gown at NYC gala
The excitement from the Golden Globe Awards hasn't yet settled, and we're already onto the next gala. On Tuesday, January 7th, the National Board of Review awards were presented in New York City. The best in the film industry were recognized. The event attracted many celebrities from show business, but Nicole Kidman captured the most attention.
The National Board of Review event was graced by the presence of Robert Pattinson, Daniel Craig, Ariana Grande, Ethan Slater, Ryan Reynolds, Cynthia Erivo, Elle Fanning, Michelle Yeoh, Mikey Madison, Sophia Coppola, Isabella Rossellini, Kieran Culkin, and Jesse Eisenberg, among others. However, Nicole Kidman, who received the Best Actress award, impressed us the most.
Stunning Kidman creation
We love such unique wardrobe elements. While a black outfit might seem mundane, Nicole Kidman proves that it doesn't have to be that way. The dress she showcased at the gala seems simple at first glance, but its back leaves one in awe.
The "wow" effect occurred when the actress turned around. The generous cut down to the bottom on the back is impressive, but the real showstopper was the decorative stones that resembled pearls.
Jewelry-like accents were not only along the back cutout but also hung freely on strings at the lower part, creating a true work of art. Additionally, the same decorations were found on the edges of the sleeves and neckline. We love such surprises!
Details polished to perfection
As if pearl accents weren't enough, Kidman also ensured she had matching jewelry that perfectly complemented the ensemble. Such an outfit requires few accessories because it is stunning in itself. However, the actress chose to enhance her look with pearl rings and earrings, which she paired with black pointed heels.
