Despite the high probability that they will face unjustified online criticism, more and more stars are getting involved with men who have a significant age difference. That's exactly what Nicola Coughlan did, who you might remember from her role as Penelope in the third season of the Netflix series "Bridgerton."
The 37-year-old actress was spotted on October 23 during an evening date in London with her boyfriend, 24-year-old Jake Dunne. They were photographed as they left the Auld Shillelagh, a pub frequented by prominent figures. They walked hand in hand, engaging in lively conversation.
Coughlan opted for a classic look with a black dress paired with black tights and an oversized amber-colored sweater. Jake wore dark green cargo pants, a red and white baseball shirt, and a cap.
You might recognize Jake from the series Rebel Nell, where he played the demonic Thomas Blancheford. His on-screen partner was Louisa Harland, who co-starred with Nicola in the series Derry Girls for several years. Harland introduced Nicola and Jake and arranged their first date.
