Many of you probably remember the 911 GT1—an extreme race car from the late '90s that still sparks desire among the brand's fans today. The British workshop Tuthill has decided to create a contemporary interpretation of this monster.

The creators have been quite reserved regarding technical details. However, it is known that the GT One is a loose interpretation of the 911 GT1, primarily referencing the original in terms of appearance.

Despite the "911" in its name, the 911 GT1 was closer to the prototype 962 than the road-going 963. Tuthill's creation, however, mainly uses 993 components combined with custom solutions in the form of front and rear frames.

It's worth noting that, unlike the 911 GT1, the Tuthill GT One is not just a spartan race car. A quick glance inside confirms this. The modern yet cozy cabin makes a great impression regarding design, finish, and equipment.

However, the universal character should go hand in hand with excellent performance. The 4-liter boxer engine generates 500 HP in the naturally aspirated version and 600 HP in the turbocharged version. The specifications are impressive, but the British have not disclosed detailed performance figures yet.

We will likely learn more details closer to the market launch. Tuthill plans to create 22 units. I wouldn't be surprised if they all already have owners.
