The newest Toyota Land Cruiser, more precisely the Land Cruiser 250, was unveiled in early August 2023 and it left quite an impression. This was in relation to both its appearance and its capabilities. The vehicle offers a 2.8 L turbo diesel which outputs 202 horsepower and as much as 369 lb-ft of torque. The interior is well-equipped, and optionally, a seven-seat version is available.

The increasing difficulty in finding a family-oriented SUV on the European market is likely why there is such significant interest in this model. This remains true even though the prices are relatively high - the First Edition is estimated to cost PLN 390,000 (approximately $101,000).

The pre-sale of the new Land Cruiser was initially intended to start in October 2023, then in November. Ultimately, a date has been determined for selected markets: December 21, 2023, at 2:00 AM ET. However, this wasn't a full-fledged start of order placements, as only a limited quota of cars was available for each country.

It can be confidently said that the interest in the latest generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser exceeded Japanese expectations. According to CarScoops, the first batch of 1,000 pre-sale units in Germany sold out within 30 minutes. Those who didn't manage to secure one for themselves now have to settle for being on the waiting list.

On the bright side, those who managed to secure one of the coveted spots within the first 1,000 can now eagerly await their Land Cruiser. However, they will still have to remain patient. Toyota forecasts that deliveries of the new version of their off-road car to German customers will not commence until at least the third quarter of 2024.
