The Lexus LF-ZC has a sleek silhouette and doesn't necessarily resemble a sedan, but will be equivalent to cars that Lexus is barely offering any more to the European market. Despite being 187 inches in length and having a wheelbase of 113 inches, the car impresses with spaciousness, thanks to the electric drive and thus the reduction of drivetrain components. It has a Direct4 all-wheel drive and a steer-by-wire steering system with no mechanical connection between the steering wheel and gearbox.
By utilizing advanced artificial intelligence technology, the next-generation voice recognition system provides drivers and passengers service reminiscent of a conversation with a butler. Going beyond conventional navigation functions, it makes route and driving mode recommendations that align with the driver's preferences, taking into account their daily activity and even mood.
The body has an incredible aerodynamic performance with an air resistance coefficient of Cd=0.2, and the driver will have above-average visibility thanks to large glazing and thin pillars, which could be used due to the use of super durable materials.
Lexus also promises twice the range than in the current generation of electric cars, which means... there will not be a breakthrough here. This is possible, among other things, thanks to new prismatic lithium-ion batteries and a more efficient drive system.
An interesting feature may be the ability to transfer with a car into the virtual world. The driver can use the car cabin and steer-by-wire technology to train skills in a driving simulator, and even to participate in e-sport competitions.
