The heating problems are due to, among other things, a bug in the iOS 17 software. It is supposed to be fixed in the upcoming system update. Apple has not revealed exactly when this will happen.

In response to user complaints about iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max heating up, the company also warned that the device may seem warmer during the first few days "after setup or restoring the device due to increased background activity," reports Reuters.

The smartphone manufacturer adds that recent updates to certain apps also cause system overload. This is also being fixed. This applies, among others, to the Asphalt 9 game, as well as Instagram and Uber.

Do the "hot" iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max pose a threat to health?

Apple assures that the aforementioned software update will not reduce the performance of new devices. In other words, the new iPhones are supposed to be cooler, but not at the expense of system efficiency.

The corporation assured in an official statement, quoted by Reuters agency, that the titanium casing of smartphones is not the problem.

Additionally, Apple emphasized that the overheating issue of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max does not pose a risk to user safety and will not affect the long-term operation of the phone
