"Inside Out" made its debut in cinemas in 2015. The film introduces the audience to the struggles of teenage Riley and her conflicting emotions, who are also characters in the film. Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust grapple with intense struggles after Riley moves from her loved Minnesota to the less inviting San Francisco.

The film received an exceedingly warm reception, with positive reviews streaming in from all sides, praising the concept developed in consultation with notable psychologist Paul Ekman. The heartwarming feature by Pete Docter has since achieved cult status and was recognized at the Oscar ceremony in 2016, where it won the award for the Best Animated Film.
