Matthew Perry held a special place in viewers' hearts for his role in the sitcom "Friends", playing the witty character Chandler, a close friend of Ross. The news of his death on October 28 left many in disbelief. The 54-year-old actor was discovered dead in a jacuzzi at his property in Los Angeles. It's known that Perry had some physical activities on the day of his demise.

Although an autopsy has been conducted, the official cause of Perry's death has not been announced publicly. Preliminary toxicology reports found no illicit substances in his system at the time of drowning. Investigators are assessing whether he had taken prescribed medications found at his home. The full reports of the investigation will be disclosed in the coming weeks.

The actor's death certificate was obtained by E! News, which states the exact time of death to be 19.17 Eastern Time. It designated Perry's stepfather, Dateline journalist Keith Morrison, as the informant. According to the certificate, no significant circumstances were linked to his death.

Perry's funeral ceremony was held at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Los Angeles, opposite Warner Bros. Studios. Only a select group of 20, comprising his family and co-stars from "Friends", such as Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, and David Schwimmer, attended the funeral.
