The Polish Warmate ammo has been tested in combat during the war in Ukraine. However, Ukraine is not the only foreign user of Polish equipment. India recently reported tests with Warmate, testing the capabilities of this weapon near the Chinese border.

The order placed in Poland by the Indian army was a major success for Warmate's manufacturer, WB Electronics. In competing for the contract, Warmate beat out products from leading unmanned aircraft manufacturers worldwide, proposed by companies from the United States and Israel.

In June 2022, it was decided that the special operations units of the Indian Army would be using Polish equipment, and the order was for 100-120 sets of Warmate.

According to Indian sources, the Warmates have already been delivered to units. As reported by the Milmag service, the Polish circulating ammunition was tested in a volatile region of the world - near the disputed territory of Aksai Chin. There were Indian-Chinese border clashes there, as a result of which dozens of soldiers died on both sides.

Beyond India and Poland, the circulating Warmate ammunition is also used in Ukraine, as well as in Turkey. In the latter case, Polish weapons are also used in combat - they were used by Turkish forces fighting in Libya. According to WB company information, Warmates have been delivered to at least six foreign recipients in total.

Warmate Circling Ammunition

Warmate is a drone developed by WB Electronics that - depending on the equipment - can serve a reconnaissance, observational, or cruising ammunition role.

This is due to a replaceable warhead. In the combat variant, it can be filled with 0.66 lbs of explosive charge or have a cumulative warhead for attacking armored targets.

Instead of a warhead, the Warmate can also carry an observational head GS-9, which contains a stabilized camera, allowing observation both during the day and the night.

The Warmate is approximately 3.6 feet long, has a wingspan of about 4.6 feet, and weighs up to 11 lbs. It can move at a speed of around 50 mph and rise to a height of up to 1640 feet, with a range of 18-25 miles.
