New Bourdain biopic "Tony" to star Dominic Sessa
The movie will be titled "Tony" (a nickname for Bourdain). The project will be helmed by Star Thrower Entertainment, known for prominent titles like "The Post," "King Richard," and "Eternity." The legendary studio A24 is negotiating with Matt Johnson, the director and co-author of "BlackBerry," to take the director's chair.

It has been reported that Dominic Sessa, whose career gained momentum after his role in the film "Winter Solstice" (five Oscar nominations, one win), is in talks to play Anthony Bourdain.
Lou Howe and Todd Bartels wrote the screenplay for the film. Sessa, named "one of the ten actors to watch" in 2023 by Variety, will also appear in upcoming projects such as Now You See Me 3 and Michael Showalter's Christmas comedy "Oh. What. Fun.
