"Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" cast
In Netflix's Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, we'll see familiar faces beloved by fans, including Axel's irreplaceable buddies who are great at solving cases: Billy Rosewood (played by Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton), Jeffrey Friedman (Paul Reiser), and the audience favorite, Serge (Bronson Pinchot). The production's involvement of high-profile actors like Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Kevin Bacon was excellent.
Netflix's "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F." What's it about?
Detective Axel Foley is back, patrolling the streets of Beverly Hills. With his daughter, whose life is at risk, his new partner, and his old buddies Billy Rosewood and John Taggart, he decides to thwart a nefarious plot, cranking up the heat while doing so.
Axel is the quintessential rogue cop character who manages to win the audience's sympathy through his charm and wit, even as they root for him in his not-always-by-the-book actions. Public property damage and typical cinematic "thrills and spills" are his trademarks. It couldn't be any different in the latest installment of Axel's adventures. In the newly released trailer, the cop speeds through the city... on a snowplow.
So far, there have been two more film sequels to "Beverly Hills Cop," with the first part from 1984 being the highest-rated and Oscar-nominated.
The premiere of "Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F" is on July 3 on Netflix.
