Netanyahu reveals Israel's plan after victory
On Saturday evening, Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, announced that Hamas has lost control of the northern part of the Gaza Strip. "They no longer have a safe haven there," stated the head of the Israeli government, emphasizing that this area is no longer under Hamas control.
Information regarding Hamas losing control of the northern part of the Gaza Strip was previously provided by the Israeli army.
Prime Minister Netanyahu added that the Israeli forces have "already killed thousands of terrorists, including leaders involved in the horrifying massacre on October 7". The Prime Minister of Israel stressed that a ceasefire without the release of hostages is out of the question.
"There is no safe place in Gaza," terrifying reports emerge
Israel's Prime Minister reiterated his stance, stating that Israel, after overcoming Hamas, will assume full responsibility for the security in the Gaza Strip. "The enclave must be demilitarized, ensuring it doesn't pose a threat to Israel in the future," underlined Netanyahu. "The army will control Gaza for as long as required," he added.
Netanyahu also issued a warning to Lebanon's Hezbollah, an ally of Palestinian Hamas. The Prime Minister cautioned Hezbollah against making the mistake of joining the war, as it could seal Lebanon's fate.
On Saturday, Israel's Defense Minister, Joav Galant, warned that Beirut could face the same fate as Gaza if the pro-Iranian group drags Lebanon into the war. "Hezbollah is playing with fire," voiced Galant, expressing his concern.
On the same day, Hassan Nasrallah, the leader of Hezbollah, claimed his group had begun using a new weapon, drones, for daily attacks on Israel originating from Lebanon. This move has occurred since the onset of the war in Gaza Strip.
"In the past week, there has been an escalation of resistance on Lebanon's side due to the increase in operations, targeted strikes, and weapons used," stated Nasrallah, announcing further attacks on Israel.
