Strain was last seen on Friday, March 8, around 10 p.m. on Gay Street. That night, he went with his friends to Luke Bryan's bar. According to Fox News, the student was kicked out after the bartender said Strain was too drunk. Reportedly, he left and told his friends he would return to the hotel near the bar.

His cousin, Chelsea Strain, told Fox News that Riley's friend informed police about the missing, as they couldn't find him in the hotel on the next day.

"He was excited 'cause he was out, and he was sending me pictures at the different bars they were going to. And he was having fun with his fraternity brothers. Riley is a very fun-loving, charismatic kid," said Riley's mother, Michelle Whiteid, during the interview with ABC News.

Nashville police are still looking for him, posting new CCTV footage from the night he went missing. Metro Nashville Police Department on social media described Riley Strain as "6'5" tall with a thin build, blue eyes and light brown hair." It also added that if anyone has seen him, he should call 615-862-8600.
