Nashville plane crash, several people killed
The flight ended tragically for the five people crew of the one-engine plane which was forced to do an emergency landing. Metro Nashville Police Department reports all of them were killed.
The place of the crush was near the Interstate 40 road in the state of Tennesse, the event took place on Monday night. The crush caused also the partial closure of the highway and the plane exploded upon impact.
Nashville Metro Police Department reported as follows during the recent press conference:
The pilot radioed the plane is not going to make it. Aircraft has crashed behind the casco store just off the east bound of lane of I40.
The plane was reported to be a very small aircraft with just one engine in the fornt of the construction:
It appears that everyone onboard perished.
According to witnesses the plane was coming over the I40 area. The north, and than crossed over the lanes of the interstate and than crushed there just behind the casco on the grassy median.
The investigations of the exact causes of the tragedy and the causes of why the plane crushed are going to be carried.
The National Police Department, the National Fire Department is on the scene along with the Tennesse Highway Patrol, the Nachville International Airport Police and the scene is being stabilized until Federal authorities arrive.
Kendra Loney, the spokesperson of the Nashville Fire Department reports on what she has scene on the scene of the crash:
Nashville fire department was dispatched to the crash immediately as there were several witnesses who saw the plane crash in that median area (...) when the crash did go down it did as witnesses describe implode on impact. That impact was catastrophic and did not leave any survivors. When our crews arrived on scene they were meet with heavy flames and fire smoke in the area showing from that crush site. They were able to extinguish that fire and also preserve the evidence from that scene so that the appropriate angencies can come and investigate wha led to this deadly crash . We are saddened by the loss of souls that were on board.
