The exceptionally juicy pork loin from this recipe owes its unique flavor and texture to one ingredient - spicy mustard. It's this very ingredient that gives the dish its characteristic taste and helps maintain the juiciness of the meat while baking. Ingredients:
- 2.2 lbs of pork loin,
- 2 onions,
- 3 cloves of garlic,
- 2 teaspoons of hot mustard,
- teaspoon of salt,
- teaspoon of pepper,
- teaspoon of sweet paprika,
- teaspoon of dried marjoram,
- tablespoon of freshly dried rosemary,
- oil.
How to Prepare:
- To begin, we peel onions and garlic, and then chop them into small pieces. We sauté them gently in heated oil until they become soft and acquire a golden color.
- In a separate bowl, we mix 5 tablespoons of oil with marjoram, rosemary, paprika, salt, and pepper. We add sharp mustard and mix thoroughly, creating an aromatic mixture.
- Now we need to imbue the meat with this unique mixture. We rub it thoroughly into the pork chop, then place the meat into a heat-resistant dish for a gentle marinating process. We keep the dish with meat in the refrigerator for about 2 hours.
- After that time, we add the previously sautéed onion and garlic to the meat. We cover the dish with aluminum foil and insert it into a preheated oven warmed up to 356°F. We bake everything for around 2 hours, periodically checking if the meat is adequately baked.
- After removing it from the oven, we wait for the dish to slightly cool down. Then we cut it into slices and serve it with favorite sides.
