My husband's surprise: Burgers with an unusual bread replacement
Burgers are traditionally a crowd-pleaser at any party, adored by both adults and children. However, on this occasion, I decided to present this iconic sandwich in an unusual form, where an egg substitutes the bread. These burgers make a perfect dinner or an intriguing party snack.
If you're a traditionalist who cherishes the classic American burger, don't fret. These egg sandwiches with a poultry patty are absolutely worth a try. This is an unrivaled burger experience - the exotic "bread" and the bite-sized format will surely catch you off guard. Astound your loved ones with an extraordinary dinner, or serve these at a party and impress your guests. They are simple to prepare, absolutely delicious, and quite a spectacle.
The Egg Burger
Ingredients:
Filling:
- 5 eggs,
- 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise,
- 1/3 teaspoon of salt,
- 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley,
- 1/2 teaspoon of sweet paprika.
Poultry Patties:
- 0.44 lbs of ground poultry meat,
- 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika,
- 1/2 teaspoon of dried garlic,
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt,
- 1/3 teaspoon of pepper,
- 3 tablespoons of vegetable oil.
Additional Ingredients:
- 1.7 oz of grated cheddar,
- 5 slices of green cucumber,
- 5 slices of cherry tomato,
- 1 tablespoon of roasted onion.
Instructions:
Step 1: Begin by preparing the mini burgers. In a bowl, combine ground meat, sweet paprika, salt, garlic, pepper, and vegetable oil. Mix thoroughly before forming small, hand-sized patties.
Step 2: Slice a hard-boiled egg in half and remove the yolk. Transfer the yolks to a separate bowl, adding mayonnaise, sweet paprika, salt, and chopped parsley. Blend everything to create the filling.
Step 3: Heat oil in a pan and fry the mini burgers you prepared earlier. After flipping them over, sprinkle the burgers with grated cheese and cover the pan with a lid.
Step 4: Fill the hollowed egg whites with the yolk filling. Add a slice of tomato, a fried patty, slices of cherry tomatoes, and finally cover with the other half of the stuffed egg white. Secure each burger with a skewer to prevent them from falling apart. Arrange on a plate and garnish with roasted onion. Enjoy your egg burgers!
