Musk's daughter rebuffs claims of "deadnaming" and false memories

On Tuesday, media outlets buzzed with surprising words from Elon Musk, which were spoken on Jordan Peterson's podcast. It's no secret that his transgender daughter, Vivian Jenna Wilson, wants nothing to do with him, which she has emphasized many times. Now the billionaire claims that a virus of the awakened mind killed his "son." Many received these words with considerable astonishment and outrage.

Basically, I lost my son. They call it "deadnaming" not without reason. My son Xavier is dead, killed by a virus of the awakened mind. (...) I swore that after this, I would destroy the virus, and we are making some progress - he said.

But it didn't end there. On Twitter, Musk claimed that Vivian identified as homosexual and was on the autism spectrum, which led to gender dysphoria. He also revealed how they used to spend time together - but he wrote everything in the masculine form, as Elon clearly doesn't want to acknowledge his daughter's transition.

I knew about it since he was 4 years old and picked out clothes for me to wear. He said they were "fantastic!" and he loved theater and musicals. But he was not a girl.

Vivian did not respond to her father's words for a long time. However, it seems she had no choice but to react. A video appeared on her Threads profile. In a lengthy statement, she pointed out her father's lies, which she claims stem largely from ignorance. And it's not just about the transition process.

It’s just fake. None of it ever happened. Never. I don't even know where he got all of this from - she began, pointing out that Musk is clearly fighting for sympathy points, but "none of it holds together".

Vivian claims that nothing published by Elon is accurate, not even her hobbies. The reason is simple - they didn't spend time together, so it's hard for him to know anything about her.

I never "loved theater and musicals" when I was 4 years old because, you know... I was 4 years old. I didn't even know what that was. (...) I never picked out jackets for him, nor did I say they were "fantastic!" I didn't even use the word "fantastic," because - again - I was 4 years old. It's so obvious that it shouldn't need explaining, but apparently, people believe this nonsense, so I have to act. It’s all made up, and there’s a reason for that. He doesn't know what I was like as a child because he just wasn't there, and when he was, I was constantly harassed for my femininity and queerness. He obviously won't say that, so I've been reduced to a stereotype that fits his judgment. It says a lot about how he views non-heteronormative people and children in general.

What the billionaire thinks about her transition, however, doesn't bother her at all.
