Is social media not enough? Many popular internet creators are increasingly partnering with television or streaming services. Participation in reality shows is becoming common, but only the most prominent influencers get the opportunity to create their own programs. Among these influencers is American entertainment giant MrBeast. As an influencer, businessman, and philanthropist, he has teamed up with Amazon to create something entirely new on a global scale.

MrBeast spent 100 million dollars on "Beast Games"

The show "Beast Games" is a collaboration between MrBeast and Amazon. It follows a familiar format of competitions organized by the influencer, where the top competitor wins a significant prize. This time, over a thousand participants will compete for an enormous payout of 5 million dollars.

In a conversation with Logan Paul and KSI, MrBeast revealed that the budget for "Beast Games" is 100 million dollars, which includes 15 million dollars spent on constructing a walled city where the show's competitions will occur. Additionally, participants in "Beast Games" received a total of 20 million dollars. On the "Impulsive" podcast, the influencer stated that they broke over 40 world records during the filming of Beast Games: the most participants in a television show's history, the largest cash prize in show history, and the most cameras recording simultaneously. If there's a world record for television shows, they've broken it.

MrBeast will "blow your minds"

The influencer said he wishes to share all the production details. He wants Amazon to tell him what he can and can't say, as there are ten episodes, each making his YouTube videos look like child's play.

MrBeast and Amazon have been sued

Even before the premiere of "Beast Games," the production faced accusations of serious violations of labor laws and ethical standards. In mid-September 2024, five employees filed a lawsuit against the production. They accused MrBeast of "creating a hostile work environment," not paying minimum wages, failing to pay overtime, sexual harassment, unsafe working conditions, and misrepresenting the nature of the competition. The lawsuit targets not only MrBeast and Amazon but also the companies responsible for the production, including MRB2024 LLC and Off One's Base LLC.

The allegations are particularly grave. An American journalist discovered that on September 11th, a production worker was struck by a piece of a tower that fell during filming. As a result of the incident, the injured person was taken to the hospital, where they remain.
