This innovative design is known as the "adaptive display". In its standard form, it features a smartphone with an impressive 6.9-inch pOLED screen, offering a Full HD+ resolution.
Motorola Adaptive Display - An interesting smartphone that can be a smartwatch
What truly sets this model apart is its flexible construction. This allows users to, for example, create a stand from a portion of the screen. In this configuration, the screen becomes smaller, with a diagonal of 4.6 inches, similar to the simplified panel found in the Razr+ model when folded.
The most unique feature is the ability to wrap the device around the wrist, effectively turning it into a "smart" bracelet or smartwatch. To ensure comfort, the back of the phone is covered with a soft material.
How does the Motorola Adaptive Display work?
The device automatically recognizes its current form and adjusts its operating mode accordingly, switching between phone mode, information panel, or smartwatch mode.
The Android operating system ensures full functionality. It is not yet certain whether the device will be released for sale, but given Motorola's tendency for experimentation, it cannot be ruled out. Still, we likely won't see it in the near future.
