38-year-old Polish woman fatally stabbed by husband; fundraising is under way
Wioletta leaves behind two sons. Friends of the woman have organized a fundraising campaign on the GoFundMe website. The funds raised are aimed at covering the funeral costs and the transportation of Wioletta's body to Poland.
We are devastated by Wioletta's loss. We hope to honour her one last time by raising funds to cover the funeral and transport of her body to Poland. Our goal is to secure Wioletta with a burial she deserves and assist her parents and children during these challenging times. The collected funds will also be used to help her children and cover the travel expenses of her parents – reads the fundraising campaign's description.
According to the fundraiser's description, Wioletta was a dedicated and nurturing mother. "Wioletta devoted her life to her sons for their better future. Known for her dedication and diligence at work, she was also an incredible colleague who could always be depended upon." - these words were written in memory of her.
The grieving family and friends set a goal to raise $40,000. Surprisingly, they have managed to raise much more - over $64,000.
