"We strongly condemn the violation of Moldova’s airspace by Russia’s missiles and drones targeting Ukraine’s critical infrastructure today. Explosions near our border and sightings of low-flying drones over villages underscore the risks to our people from Russia’s brutal war," the Moldovan Foreign Minister stated.

He also shared a video in which the sound of passing missiles can be heard.

The recording was provided by a resident of the village of Rusena in the Yedinet district. According to Ukrainian Pravda, the resident claims that the missiles flew at a low altitude, and the sound was captured by monitoring cameras.

Drone in Moldova

Let's recall that this is another recent incident. A drone was discovered in southeastern Moldova a week ago. Overnight from Saturday to Sunday, Russia conducted a significant drone attack on Ukraine.

One of these drones was found near a village in the Causeni region in southeastern Moldova, close to the Ukrainian border. A resident reported the drone to the police. The area around the drone was secured, and specialized services were sent to the site.

It is unclear whose drone ended up on Moldovan territory.

According to reports from the Ukrainian Air Force, Russia launched a record number of 145 drones over Ukraine overnight from Saturday to Sunday. Ukrainian air defenses destroyed 62 of them. In various regions of Ukraine, 67 drones went missing, while another 10 left Ukrainian airspace, heading towards Moldova, Belarus, and Russia.
